1. Who We Are

dwible ApS
Højbro Plads 10
1200 Copenhagen, Denmark
Privacy contact: oskar@dwible.io

2. What Data We Collect

  1. Identifiers

    • Random in-app User ID (opt-in users only)

  2. Usage Data

    • Platforms you post to

    • Post format(s)

    • Login & logout timestamps

    • Opt-out users → events stored under a shared “anonymous” ID

  3. Diagnostics

    • Crash & exception logs

    • Opt-out users → logs still collected but not linked to you

We do not collect contact info, location, photos, audio, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any other personal data.

3. Why We Collect This Data

  • App Stability: Diagnose and fix crashes/exceptions.

  • Product Improvement: Learn which platforms and formats you use to refine features.

  • Security & Abuse Prevention: Monitor login patterns for anomalies.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

  • Crash & Exception Logging: Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) – ensure reliability.

  • Usage Metrics & Login Events: Legitimate interests; consent where required (you can opt out).

Opt-out simply replaces your User ID with “anonymous” but does not stop data collection.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

  • No ads or profiling: We never share your data with ad networks and do not use IDFA.

  • Infrastructure only: All data resides on encrypted Google Cloud servers in the EU. Google acts as our processor under GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfers outside the EEA.

  • Legal compliance: We may disclose data if compelled by law. We never sell or rent your data.

6. Data Retention

  1. Crash & Exception Logs: Retained for 180 days.

  2. Usage Metrics (post platform/format, login/logout): Retained indefinitely (unless you request deletion).

Opt-out users’ events remain under the shared “anonymous” ID and are not personally identifiable.

7. Security Measures

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)

  • Role-based access controls and MFA for all engineers

  • Quarterly security audits and automated vulnerability scans

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal data.
To exercise your rights, email oskar@dwible.io.
(Opt-out users have no linked data; requests apply only if you previously consented.)

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not for children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we learn of any, we will delete it immediately.

10. Cookies, Tracking & Advertising

The App contains no cookies, web beacons, or advertising SDKs. Analytics is limited to the data described above.

11. International Transfers

If data leaves the EEA (e.g., Google Cloud fail-over), transfers use GDPR-approved Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Policy Updates

We will announce material changes via in-app notice and/or email (if provided). Continued use after updates means you accept the new policy.

13. Data Breach Notification

If a breach of personal data occurs, we will notify affected users and regulators without undue delay, in line with GDPR Articles 33–34.
